OPPO to Build an Industrial Park in India for US$216 Million

China-based smartphone vendor OPPO is going to invest US$216 million to set up an industrial park in Greater Noida, India, reported Commercial Times on December 29. The park covers about 1,000 acres, including manufacturing plants. The whole industrial park will be completed in two to three years, with an initial annual production capacity of 50 million mobile phones and an ultimate target of 100 million units per year. At present, OPPO's main product in India is smartphone. The company plans to enhance smartphone user experience in order to increase local market share.
